We want to thank everyone who took the time to fill out the survey we sent out in July. Our goal in sending it out was to find out what people were happy with and where we needed to work harder. Below is our summary of the survey:
1. Some patients took the time to write their thoughts about our office. We had some really fantastic responses like:
“My experience at Adams Dental has always been wonderful. The office is filled with friendly, kind people who truly care. I tend to be very inquisitive and they are super patient with all of my questions and always answer them fully. Thank you for the amazing service and the new place looks fabulous!! I’m so blessed to find Adams Dental, it makes coming to the dentist a joy and not a chore!”
“I look forward to my appointments because it is like catching up with good friends. I have such a positive experience each appointment. They are the BEST!!!”
“You are very prompt and don’t make me wait, which I really appreciate. Also, you should use your text message system to remind me to floss! You guys are great.” (We are working on the flossing reminder!)
2. Over half of you have never visited our website (although if you’re reading this, I’m preaching to the choir) and even less of you have visited our Facebook page!
Our website is great for both new and existing patients and will be updated with new photos and information in the next few months. There are fact sheets about dental health, links to dental sites and my blog.
We invite you to “Like Us” on Facebook or “Follow Us” on Twitter. We keep our page up to date with fun facts about dentistry and health, community happenings, and our patient Smile of the Week. We love promoting our patients’ businesses and charitable events, as well as sports and academic awards received by our school-age patients.
3. One area that patients had questions about related to fees, insurance and their co-payments. We realize that most people do understand their financial responsibilities; however, if just one of our patients is confused, that’s one too many. We have updated our financial policy and are adding a link to our website with the new information. Of course, we are always available to discuss any questions that may arise.
4. We learned that 96% of our patients would refer a family member or friend. Those are our favorite new patient referrals. Thank you!
