Something as common as crowded teeth may have multiple underlying causes like mouth breathing, allergies, or large tonsils. What we used to think was the problem (crowded teeth) is really a sign of a bigger problem. And by peeling away the layers we work to discover and treat the cause, instead of just worrying about the problem. We start with young patients to design plans that take into consideration growth and development because we know how important proper facial growth is to overall health. Additionally, we work with teenagers and adults who have oromotor disorders that may be leading to open bite, sleep disordered breathing or obstructive sleep apnea.

Our myofunctional therapists on staff, Lynn and Rosie, work closely with our doctors. They help patients understanding what an oromotor disorder is, and more importantly, how to eliminate it through regular exercise.
