tists of 2018 in the July issue of New Jersey Monthly magazine. Each year, the magazine surveys New Jersey dentists and asks who they consider to be top in their field, who they would personally use, or who they would recommend to a family member or friend. This year 6,917 dentists were surveyed and Dr. Adams was one of the 635 dentists chosen. Dr. Adams is a member of the magazine’s Professional Advisory Board.
She is honored to be chosen for the Top Dentist list, but more so, to have the opportunity to be responsible for dental care for her patients. Dr. Adams serves the Madison community, providing comprehensive general dentistry including services in cosmetic, implant, surgical, and orthodontic care and in the field of sleep apnea and airway health. She understands prevention is a superior strategy to repair, and technology is valuable only to supplement rather than replace conversation.
Dr. Adams is attentive to children’s growth and development and recognizes how allergies, asthma, difficulty with speech and enlarged tonsils can influence jaw development and tooth position in children, and work to address it as early as possible in order to make life long health and cosmetic changes.
Dr. Adams, who practices at Adams Dental on Kings Road in Madison, Dr. Mark McCaffrey and Dr. Celine Lee, believe excellent dentistry is more about excellence in communication than technique, and that taking the time to attentively listen is the most important diagnostic tool in the provision of medical care.
