Morris Township., NJ (Jul 12, 2016) – Dr. Allison Adams of Adams Dental has been named to the Board of Trustees of the College of St. Elizabeth. Adams, a Madison resident whose practice, Adams Dental is located at 1 Kings Road in the borough, began her term Friday, July 1.
Adams graduated from the college at 2 Convent Road in the Convent Station section of Morris Township in 1985 and earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Dental School in Newark.
At her practice, which she opened in the 1990s, she sees patients of all ages and has been ranked as one of the “Top Dentists of the Year” by NJ Monthly Magazine for the seventh year in a row.
Adams has previous board experience as a member of the Oak Knoll Alumnae Board at the Oak Knoll School in Summit and of the Madison Chamber of Commerce. She has remained active with the college by mentoring students who are looking to dentistry as a career. In 2015, Dr. Adams was celebrated as an outstanding alumna during the annual scholarship gala.
“Dr. Adams brings a unique experience to the college’s board,” said college President Helen J. Streubert. “Her career in health care and her previous board experience at an independent school will benefit the college as we move forward.”
